The part was easy to remove the old and put in the new and is working great

The part was expensive, but on par with prices elsewhere. The two lights in the fridge were flickering and the freezer light was completely out. This seems to be a very common issue with this Whirlpool fridge/freezer so it's a little disappointing that Whirlpool hasn't come up with a permanent fix. Since the three lights are daisy-chained like Xmas lights, it kind of a crap shoot as to which one is "bad". The 2 lights in the fridge are different to the one in the freezer. I went with the recommended part (freezer light}. It was a super quick/simple swap out and fixed the problem immediately. The one thing I love about PartSelect is the tutorials. Makes the repair quick and easy!

The LED light came in seal package. It was easy to install. You will need a very small size flat head screw driver to pop the light out of its slot. You might want to shut the power off to the refrigerator first. Discount the connector . Plug the new LED light into the connector and pop it back into its slot. Turn the power on. On a side note if when you open the refrigerator or freezer door and the lights are constantly blinking . One of LEDs (there are 4 tiny lights in the tube or circuit) is probably out. There are two lights in the refrigerator side and one in the freezer side . You will have to look really carefully to see which circuit in the LED is out.

The part worked fine. We replaced the freezer light first. It worked for the whole refrigerator.

The part was in great condition & I received it fast. My Fridge is back to working great

My refrigerator light was out for almost a year I bought lights from several places and none of them work I thought there was actually something wrong inside my refrigerator then I came across parts select purchase all three of the lights and it worked great my lights are now on and my wife is happy again with the refrigerator I'm so glad I didn't have to go out and purchase a new refrigerator just because of the lights won't come on part select if I could give you more than five stars I would thank you for having such original parts that actually works and you can do the whole thing Within 20 minutes of putting the lights in thank you

The replacement LED light was a perfect match. It took less than 2 minutes to fix. Freezer light is back working again & both refrigerator compartment lights are now back to full strength.

Received the right part. it was easy to install.

The part we ordered was supposed to replace the refrigerator side. The part we received fit the freezer side. The lights in the refrigerator and freezer side now flash 6-8 times before they turn on steadily as the door is opened. $100 only gets you a partial fix these days.

Unfortunately the light we order was wrong. We asked for a refrigerator L.E.D. , and we were sent the freezer L.E.D. . And without a picture being available it makes ordering even worse.
