My refrigerator would intermittently stop working. There is still power on the door selections, but water/ice dispenser would not work, the internal LED lights would not come on, and the refrigerator stopped cooling. I would have to unplug the power for 15 minutes and plug it back in for it to work again (for a couple of weeks). Would you be able to recommend which board I would need to change out for these symptoms?
For model number KRMF706ESS01
Hi David,
Thank you for your question. There are 3 electronic control boards that you will need to check. You will need to check the main electronic control board, part number PS11757074, the power supply board, part number PS11756815, and the inverter board, part number PS12070625. You will need to check them for signs of damage or burn marks to determine which one is causing the issue. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My refrigerator builds too much ice on the freezer are and fan motor starts making lots of noise, and eventually stops working, and a op error appears on panel. I test the defroster and it does not get's hot?
I test the continuity with multi meter is the heater element is ok.
Which of the board controls this heater element?

Hello Stan, thank you for your question. Per the model number, the two boards on the back of the unit should have fixed the issue. I was able to find some other information from other customers online
I plugged it in and left one door open and recorded the rebooting issue. Then I decided to record a video of me pushing the measured fill button. After pushing the measured fill button for a second time, the refrigerator stayed on and is working. So perhaps holding the two buttons resolved the issue or reset something so the refrigerator could work.
Try holding one door open and pressing the measured fill button twice to reset the unit. If this doesn't help. you may require a service call. I hope this helps.

Problem: Upper LED light failure with FC light failure. Yes, those are in series in a single circuit. After verifying each led and groups of leds, I replaced the Aurora Board. Still not working. Bypassing the FC led with a 110ohm resistor allowed all the RC top leds to come on. Measured output of Aurora board showing 24vdc as opposed to the 20vdc specified. So, no FC light at the the moment but the remainder work fine. Putting a new FC light in, lights all come on but extremely dim which is why the resistor for the moment. It seems like there's insufficient current for the 20vdc output from the aurora board but I'm needing to get back to it and check for the +/-12vdc input to the board from the power supply board. Do you have any thoughts on this before I waste any more money? Thanks
For model number KRMF706ESS01
Hello Susan, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend making sure that you have installed the aurora board correctly and the connections between the lights and the aurora board are intact. If the problem persists, then you may need to check the power control board, part number PS11756815, to solve the problem. A malfunctioning power control board can most probably cause this issue. We hope this helps!
