Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This genuine OEM control knob is designed for ranges. It is located on the front panel of the range, with markings or symbols indicating different heat levels or functions. Is this replacement part knob complicated to install? or does it pop right on the stove front? Ours is broken.

I need the metal retainer clip that goes inside the back of the control knob ....in the half circle shaped hole that accepts the metal stem on the range. Without it the knob falls of the range.
