Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
The refrigerator door gasket is an important part of your fridge’s insulation system. It forms a seal around the door, preventing warm air from entering and ensuring the fridge maintains the correct temperature. If the door gasket becomes damaged or worn, it can cause the refrigerator to lose cooling efficiency, which may lead to spoiled food and increased energy consumption. This genuine OEM part is designed to fit select refrigerator models, providing a perfect seal for the door. In some cases, the gasket may develop folds or creases during shipping, but they can be smoothed out by soaking the gasket in warm water or gently warming it with a hair dryer on low heat. For safety, always store food properly while the door is open and disconnect the power before performing the installation. Wear gloves during installation to protect your hands.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Gasket was correct one for the problem
By ordering the gaskets for both doors ourselves and then having a repairman install them we saved $200 that the company was going to add on to the cost of the two gaskets if he had placed the order.

I purchased seals for both left and right doors of the above model. Right hand door no problem. However can you please advise how to change gasket on left hand door. The piece on the right hand side of the left door that goes back and forth seems to be in the way. So please advise how to do this. Thanks
