One hour repair
The part (range heating element) was very similar to the original from our range with only one plug in location slightly different. That created no problem when connecting all wiring. The entire project took less than one hour actual work time to remove and reinstall the new element. So far, so good, with range working just fine.

Large burner replacement Repaired Stove
The part was almost perfect. The metal attachment on the new burner was changed a little, but I had saved the old burner so my handyman was able to use the bracket from the old one to install the new one.

Burned out large range top element
After identifying the part and taking delivery of it, I opened the breaker for the unit and then removed the range top by taking out 2 Phillips screws and lifting the part away from the hinges in the back. The element was attached with only 2 spring loaded clips which I then removed, noting the numbered position of each. I then photogra

I attached the clips to the new element and reconnected the wiring to the main heating element and the sensor per the photographs. The element was then re-positioned into its mounting slots, the range cover was reattached with the screws and the unit tested once power was restored.

Both front burners only run at high, no temperature control. Would this be in the heater element/thermostadt or the controlo?
For model number wfe510s0asw
Hi John, thank you for your question! The issue seems to be with the control switches and we would recommend replacing them. The dual element control switch is part number PS11754687, and the right front burner control switch is part number PS11740785. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Thanks again for your great question.
left frt surface element would not come on.Replaced left frt surface element. Burner comes on for a minute when switch is on high, then goes off. 30 seconds later comes back on. When you set temp gauge to 5 ( medium heat ) burner will not come on . What is the problem
For model number 665.9514330
Hello Walter, thank you for reaching out. We would recommend checking the left front surface element infinite switch, part number PS11740783, to fix the issue. Surface element control switch turns the surface element on and off and controls how much heat the element produces. Good luck with the repair!
What is the Right front burner part #? The issue is that the burner is on high heat by 1/2 way and is too hot for most cooking.
For model number WFE320MOESO
Hi Harold, thank you for your question! The right front surface element is part number PS11764906. But according to our research, the issue is due to the faulty right front infinite element, part number PS11740783. Glad to be of assistance!
