Dishwasher is extremely noisy during the wash cycle but quiet during drain. Dishes are clean and there are no leaks. What is wearing out?

Thank you for your question. If your dishwasher is noisy during a wash cycle, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the pump, the diverter motor and the nozzle assemblies. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts. I just replaced the circulation pump and the previos noise is corrected. However, I noticed there was a rubber part thet fit into the base of the circulation motor. This is part M139 on the diagram. It is on a splined shaft, but when I loked at the part it seems to be partially stripped. When I ran the dishwasher, I cancelled the cycle and the dishwasher normally runs the drain pump. I heard a different noise during this operation and I'm wondering if it has to do with M139. Maybe the circulation pump is rubbing and the part is stripped all the way.

Hello Tom, thank you for getting in touch. The part you are referring to is the motor holder, part number PS12081824. If this part is stripped, it can cause the noise in your dishwasher. We would recommend replacing it to solve the problem. We hope this helps!
