I am getting the AE error code on my dishwasher. It started due to water being forced back up the drain hose flooding the dishwasher, which caused the dishwasher to turn on and cause the error code. At that time the pump activated and drained all the water. Since that time when power is put to the dishwasher the AE code displays and the pump tries to drain water which is not there.

Hello Steve, thank you for contacting us. Based on our research, the error code AE indicates that you have a leak inside your dishwasher, activating the water level sensor. As you have already drained all the water, it seems that the water level sensor of your model is malfunctioning. We would recommend checking the water level sensor, part number PS12080273, to fix the issue. Glad to be of assistance!

Does this part (EBD62065301) come with the wiring? Or is it just the sensor piece.
For model number LDFN4542S
Hello Jason, Thank you for your inquiry. We show that this is just the water level sensor under the fill funnel for the model number that you have provided. If you are looking for the temperature sensor with the wire, the compatible part number is PS12076868. Sadly, the wiring harness that the water level sensor connects to we do not show listed. We strongly recommend you contact the manufacturer, as they would have this information in their system. Ask them for the part number you require and contact back to see if it is something we carry. We hope this helps.
I am getting the dreaded HE error, and I see a LOT of parts for my dishwasher but not the heater element. Can you tell me the specific part to order?
For model number LDP6797ST
Hi Serena, thank you for reaching out. We have researched and found that this error code seems to be because of the thermistor, part number PS12076868. We would suggest replacing the thermistor to fix the error. We hope this solves your problem!
My LG dishwasher has an AE code. I had this once before and cleaned the drain screen and it worked. This time an AE code comes up and I can hear the pump constantly cycling to drain the water. However there is no water to drain. If I try to turn the dishwasher off it automatically comes back on trying to pump the water out. Any thoughts

Hi Craig,
Thank you for your question. If your dishwasher shows the AE error code, and there is no water in the dishwasher, try resetting it by turning the power off to it for 10 minutes. If the code reappears when you turn it back on, check the screens on the water inlet valve and inspect water lines and hoses to see if they are clogged or show signs of damage and leaking. If the lines, hoses, or the water inlet valve are clogged or damaged either clean or replace them. Also remove the kickplate and wipe any water you find. Leave the kickplate off and allow air to circulate underneath the dishwasher to dry up any moisture that may still be there. If the dishwasher is not level the AE error code will appear. You should also check the door gasket. If water is leaking from the door when in use the AE error code will appear. If the gasket is damaged or worn, replace it. If the are any clogs in the spray arms, the AE error code will appear and you will need to clean or replace them. We hope this helps!
My unit is giving the IE error. I replaced the inlet valve and no luck, still giving the IE error after running a cycle for about 60 seconds. No issues with blockage, pressure, etc. I’ve been told the next step is to replace the flow sensor, part EBD62065301. Does this sound like the correct course of action? Thanks in advance.

Hello Jay, thank you for asking. If all else has failed to resolve the 'IE' code for your LG washer, the control board PS16551757 is likely the cause of the issue. We hope this will help.
