This cooktop or main top assembly is a genuine OEM replacement assembly that is made for Samsung ranges. It includes the glass top and surrounding frame that make up the cooking surface of the range. The main top provides a surface for heat to be dispersed and also provides a convenient place to hold pots and pans during the cooking process. If the glass is visibly cracked, deformed, or otherwise damaged, you may notice that your range cannot heat up, or cannot maintain a consistent temperature.
