Out of balance often
After loosening top screws on back ,snaps in front,no need to total remove top changing springs you have to reach below top of case with vice gripes and attach to spring rod about 8 inch down and lift up (tuff for 80 year old) tap down on plastic retainer, turn retainer 1/2 turn so hook will slip out ,now lower spring it will fall out
... Read moreof bottom retainer. Now for reinstall ,instead of vice gripes on the spring down inside case with no room , by hand take new (correct color) spring reach deep inside and install bottom into bottom retainer now take old spring run long end hook threw retainer hole in top case, hook to hook ,now you can pull new spring easy out the top about 3 inches and now vice gripes above case with enough room to reinstall top retainer remove gripes now only 3 more to go
Watched the part select instructional video on YouTube. Repair was very easy. Appliance repair man quoted me $335 for this repair. I did it myself for a fraction of the cost.
Took top of the washer then took one rod off at a time and replace with the new one, the back two are a little bit harder to do but it works great now.

Are the tension springs for the tub are they the same tension or is it different from each other?
For model number HTW200ASK0WW
Hi Alexandria, thank you for your question. No, they should be the same tension. You just have two types of rods on your appliance. The right, and then the left: PS12343379. Good luck with your repair.

The suspension rods have two different numbers, which is right and which is left?
For model number GTW330ASK1WW
Hello Greg, thank you for your question. The Right is Red PS12343378 and the Left is Blue PS12343379. We look forward to hearing from you.
To replace all suspension rods for my model, do you sell a kit that replaces all suspension rods (414 ea 2 and 415 ea 2) and the ball joints (413 ea 4)? or do I have to purchase each separately. So, the suspension rod (414 is left-side front and back) and the (415 is right-side front and back). What is the cost for the complete kit, if one? What is the individual cost of the items?
For model number HTW200ASK0WW
Hello Stuart, Thank you for your inquiry. Researching the model number that you have provided, the manufacturer does offer a suspension rod kit, part# PS16874117, which includes all 4 suspension rods, plus the ball joints and springs. The current prices for the kit and for the individual rods, part# PS12343379 and PS12343378, are listed on our website. We hope this helps you.
Hi Lelouch,
Thank you for your question. Yes, this would be the correct rod and spring assembly for your washer. We hope this helps!

My washer is unbalanced and goes crazy, it does not always drain the water at the end. I suspect it is the suspension rods and if so which do I need and do you carry them in a complete kit?
For model number GTW330ASK0WW
Hello Sandra, thank you for getting in touch. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest checking the suspension rods to fix the issue. The suspension rods for your model do not come in a kit. The left side suspension rod is part number PS12343379, and the right side suspension rod is part number PS12343378. We hope this helps.
Is this listing for one rod or both for the same side?
For model number HTW240ASK4WS
Hi Madison, thank you for the question. Based on our research, the suspension rod assembly you have mentioned is a single rod and it is for the right side only. The suspension rod assembly for the left side is part number PS12343379. We hope this information helps!
