Can it be the mother board gone bad when nothing works except for the dryer. In other words the washer has no power going to it , but dryer works perfectly fine
For model number GUD27ESSM1WW
Hello Salomon, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, motherboard can also cause this issue. Before replacing it, we would suggest checking the user control and display board, part number PS12342920, to solve the problem. We hope this helps!
So I replaced the washer door lid lock control but it’s still not locking. Do I need a new main control board?
For model number GUD27ESSM1WW
Hello James, thank you for reaching out. If you have replaced the lid lock switch, you will need to replace the control board to fix the issue. The part number for the control board is PS12343390. We hope this helps.

washer have no problem, but dryer nothing going on after push start switch. check door switch, thermostat outlet control and start switch all those are okey. what next i need to look at? Thank you for your help
For model number GUD24ESSM1WW
Hi Minh, thank you for the question. As you have checked all these parts, the issue could be with the dryer timer, part number PS11721520. It controls the electrical components and the duration of the dryer cycles. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
My washer will turn on. I push start and all that happens is the lid will lock and 2 shots of water feed into the washer. The gear control on the transmission is going up and down...looks like it wants to try to do a spin but nothing. The gear is not in the agitate mode. The gear cycles a few times then the washer shuts itself off and unlocks lid. The washer will work periodically...but hardly ever. Is this a control board issue? Thanks for your help.
For model number GUD24ESSM0WW
Hello Paul, Thank you for contacting us. Researching your model, this issue is usually caused by a faulty lid switch, water inlet valve or the control board. Check the boards for any visible damage or loose connections and you can test the other parts with a multimeter. Good luck with your repair.
