Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This is the replacement shelf insert for your refrigerator. It is made of glass and is approximately 11.69 inches by 11.37 inches. The shelf insert slides into the shelf trim and acts as a top for the crisper drawers, as well as a shelf to store food items. The main reason to replace the shelf insert, is if it is cracked or broken. To replace the shelf, simply slide the old shelf out, and remove the trim. Attach the trim to then new insert and slide it back into place. This is an authentic OEM part and it is sold individually.

Add shelves
New fridge does not supply all shelves. Bought two glass shelves for freezer, and two door bins for fridge from PartSelect at good price. These OEM parts are easy to install. Just need to ensure you get the right part since the size for the top shelf and bottom shelf are different.
Brand new refrigerator with space for 6 shelves in the freezer but sold with only two. I bought two tiny shelves for $280. Yes, ridiculously expensive but what good is a freezer without shelves.

Purchased this fridge earlier this year. In an effort to buy extra freezer shelf on line, your website does not recognize this number. Therefore can only guess for part number to order. Therefore cannot find info on shelf sizes to help in a search. The on-line info is seriously lacking in ease of a search. The model number from our fridge is listed above. We are looking to add a freezer shelf that is approx. 10-3/4" by 11".

What is the difference between part 3 and part 5 in the diagram?

I need to obtain an additional freezer shelf. Can you help me? I am a little confused because wht I find has different sizes and all the shelfs in the freezer are the same size.

Hello Michele, thank you for writing. All three glasses are different sizes. The part are specific to the position in the freezer. So, if you need a top (3) its PartSelect Number PS12347521. If you need a middle (5) its PartSelect Number PS12347522. If you need the bottom or the one that is above the drawer, (2) its PartSelect Number PS11727898. We hope this helps.
