What I'm looking for is the plastic washer that goes inside (center of) agitator.
The metal drive hub with teeth ate it up... I can't find that part or a name for it.
My question is:
If I buy the agitator here, does it come with the molded plastic washer with teeth inside?
Please help. Thanks!

The agitator from the new washer broke in a little over year. The teeth of plastic washer eaten away. Is it the part quality issue or washer design issue?

Hello Kim, Thank you for contacting us. While we do not manufacturer the parts or appliance so cannot comment on the quality, there are usually multiple reasons why an agitator can wear out, including an issue with the washer hub or the gear on the transmission or transmission spline. We would recommend checking the suspension rods as well, as if one of is broken or failing, it can cause excess wear and tear on the agitator. We hope this helps.
My new washer/dryer combo was purchased in August 2023. For a little over a year, the thread of plastic housing of the screw wore out. Is it a quality issue ? Is the thread the important part to hold the agitator to the motor?

Hi Kim, Thank you for writing. The Threaded part would hold the Bolt on place. If the Bolt is not held in place or held tight, the agitator will come loose. The part would need to be replaced. Good luck with the repair!
