Very happy with my part!

Easy to use and clear. Functions well.

I love that it keeps cake batter from flying everywhere.the pouring spout allows for pouring in the mixer without turning it off.

The picture that accompanies this shows the part in a continuous circle. However, what was shipped has an opening in the circle allowing the shield to be removed while the mixer is in the down position, even being able to remove while the mixer continues to run. I purposely purchased this one based on the picture so was disappointed but that is the only style on other sites so I knew I couldn't get the one pictured. That being said, it works as well as I hoped even though none of these fit tightly. They sit loose on the bowl but still keep flour from spilling over. Wet ingredients will leak out when they splash the ring since is just sits on the bowl and does not lock down. Lower your expectations and it does an OK job, especially with the pour spout that is wide and oh so helpful! I highly endorse PartSelect. They did their part well except for the misleading picture. It needs to be updated to the newer style. Mark

This part would not fit my Kitchen aid stand mixer with a Metal bowl. I was assured it would fit my metal bowl. have requested a full refund.
