Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This genuine replacement ice maker includes the ice mold and control unit, designed to automatically fill, freeze, and dispense radius-shaped ice cubes. It cycles through freezing and ejecting cubes until the ice bin is full. If your current ice maker is not working or producing small cubes, this part may be the solution—though checking your water filter is also advised. Always unplug the appliance and follow the installation instructions in your manual. Work gloves are recommended for safety.

When the ice machine is on, the machine is constantly knocking loudly. It does not stop. I have to manually turn the "fingers" to make it stop. Thanks.

What controls the solenoid to open and close to fill the ice tray. My ice maker in the freezer stopped making cubes. I checked and there was no water in the tray and the fill tube appeared to be completely open. Trying to determine if the problem is with the ice maker, or the solenoid to supplies the water to the ice tray.

Hello Don, Thank you for the question. The Ice Maker motor tells the Inlet valve when to release water to fill the ice maker. Here is a link to information on testing the valve. We hope this helps.

Water to ice maker does not flow and if left alone it will eventually flow and not shut off overflowing the ice bucket. I has just replaced the water inlet valve purchased from parts select. The house water pressure gas a cut in pressure of 30 psi and cut out of 50 psi. Any suggestions?

Hello Terry, Thank you for the question. If the Water Valve did not fix the issue, you may have a defective Ice Maker. It is not calling for the water fill properly and may need to be replaced. We hope this helps!

Hello, my Frigidaire refrigerator model number FPBG2277RF2 has an ice maker with a model number FDI103S and a part number 241798226. I’m finding a number of them that match the model number but not the part number. Will one with a matching model number work even though the part number does not? Thank you
