Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This 120-volt, 60 HZ wash pump service kit is sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in dishwashers. It is a genuine OEM replacement part that is specially designed to fit in your appliance just like the original. The wash pump is responsible for circulating pressurized water throughout the dishwasher to effectively eliminate food debris, grease, and stains. If the pump is damaged or experiencing electrical failure, you will likely notice that little to no water is released through the spray arms while the dishwasher is running, leading to inefficient cleaning. The dishwasher may also be noisy and unable to drain water out of the tub after a cycle. PLEASE NOTE: THIS PART COMES WITH FLOATING SEAL ASM PART # WD08X27458
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Is it possible to get the rubber "L" arm that is attached to the pump in the wash pump service kit without buying the pump? I got a pinhole in the rubber and was hoping to not replace the entire pump.
For model number CDT805M5N0S5
Hello Jason, Thank you for the question. Very sorry, GE only sells the L shape part with the Wash Pump Kit. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Why can I not just purchase the rubber elbow instead of the entire pump assembly? This is my second GE dishwasher in five years and I deserve to be able to get the only part that I need. I would appreciate some good customer service. Thank you
For model number GDT665SMN0ES
Hello Chris, Thank you for contacting PartSelect.com. Very sorry we do not manufacture the appliance or the parts. All the parts we sell come straight from GE and they are sold to us with the elbow sold as part of the Pump. For more specialized assistance or to speak with someone about this, we would suggest calling GE. We hope this helps!

THE DISHWASHER WILL START A WASH CYCLE, A GRINDING NOISE COMES FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE UNIT, IT THEN SHUTS OFF. A YOU TUBE VIDEO I SAW SUGGESTS THAT THIS PUMP (MOTOR) IS THE CAUSE. YOUR THOUUGHTS?
For model number PDT715SYN0FS
Hi Steve, thank you for contacting us. Based on the description, the problem does appear to be with the wash pump, part number PS12741248. The wash pump delivers water to the spray arms to clean your dishes. We would suggest checking the wash pump to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

Dishwasher seems to clean dishes just fine, however it makes a terrible grinding noise. I ran it through the diagnostic cycles and the noise happens on #3 which I believe is the wash pump. Is this correct?
For model number GDP665SYN4FS
Hello Shari, thank you for your inquiry. We find for your model the grinding noise is likely due to the dishwasher's pump is obstructed. You will need to check the pump for debris. Good luck with your repair.

Hello. My dishwasher runs for a while, and stops mid cycle. I already replaced the drain pump and that did not correct it. The door latch appears to be nice and tight, so I do not suspect that either. Any thoughts on what it could be? Thanks.
For model number GDT645SYN3FS
Hello Rudolph, thank you for reaching out. We have concluded that the issue is with the control board, part number PS16542462. We would recommend replacing it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!
