The fan that comes on to preheat my oven is hitting something and making a noise as it spins, what do I need to do? Thanks

If the fan blade is loose you will need to tighten it. Prior to ordering this part: With the oven's current convection fan - I can move the fan out about 1/8 to 1/4 inch on its spindle - does this indicate a problem and need to be replaced? Thanks
