My freezer will not hold a constant temperature. Varies between +2 to -15 The other day it stopped all together. It started developing ice around the top of the door, again. Cleaned it out and it runs, but still no constant temperature. Kind of at a loss. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Dennis, Thank you for reaching out. With the temperature fluctuating and the frost on the door, this would normally indicate a defective or damaged Door Gasket allowing warm air through. We hope this helps!

Hi Tom, thank you for reaching out. Based on our research, we would recommend checking the freezer door gasket, part number PS16218638. It creates a seal around the door to prevent warm air from entering the freezer. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
I changed my defroster heater, and defroster thermostat. now my freezer is constantly running all the time

Hello Marie, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend checking the wiring and connections of the newly installed parts. Testing them for continuity will also help in ensuring that new parts are not problematic. If this does not help, the main control board, part number PS16555732, is probably problematic. It manages the functions of the freezer such as the temperature settings and defrosts cycle time. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of assistance!
ON OUR FREEZER WHAT TURNS THE LIGHT ON AND OFF , IT WORKED WHEN FIRST NEW BUT QUIT AFTER A WEEK OR 2

Hello Terry, thank you for the question. The refrigerator light is a kind of automatic on/off device that is operated by a small lever or push-button switch installed on the refrigerator door. The light bulb turns off when you close the door as the door switch is pressed down to interrupt the circuit, and it turns on to emit light when the door opens to connect the switch to the circuit. The power supply to the light is provided by the wires inside the refrigerator. This problem could be a defective reed switch, part number PS16544346, reed switch magnet, part number PS12705455, light bulb, part number PS12731499, and socket, part number PS12731500. We suggest testing the Switch and Socket to check for continuity and try replacing the bulb or magnet if they are worn or damaged. We hope this helps!
My freezer is only 18 months old and sometimes freezes properly but lately only works as a very cold refrigerator , lower shelf might freeze well but the rest not.
Do u think by changing the thermostat behind the inside cover might fix the problem?

Hi Alex, thank you for the question. Based on the description you have provided, we would recommend checking the evaporator fan motor, part number PS12746805. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this will resolve your problem!
The fan on this freezer is hitting ice. There seems no pattern or predictability to this happening. At times the fan is not hitting ice for a period and then it repeats.

Hello Jeffery, thank you for your question. If the freezer fan and evaporator coils are icing up, you likely need to replace the Door Gasket PS16218638. Without a good seal, the unit would run longer to make up for the lost cold thus causing an ice buildup. We hope this helps.
