Hi, my front right burner will start to warm up when the switch is turned on but then the burner shuts down after 10 seconds and doesn't restart. The corresponding hot surface indicator light remains on and will not shut off. Are these the symptoms of a failed infinite switch (wb24t10139)? Thanks, appreciate your help. Brian
For model number PCS968SP2SS
Hello Brian, thank you for inquiring. Yes, this could be due to a faulty Infinite Control Switch, part number PS1517426 for your model. You may also want to consider replacing the Triple Haliant Element itself, part number PS2321560. Good luck with your repair!

Hi, can you confirm part# WB24T10139 is for the 12" 3 sizes burner? I haven't removed it yet but thought the part #21 was smaller in size than the part#24. I just want to make sure before I buy.
For model number JCS968SK4SS

Hi, my right front burner starts to warm up. I can see it turn red, then it shuts off after a few seconds. It repeats this process over and over. It gets red and turns off never getting a chance to build up significant heat. If I listen carefully, I can also hear a very faint clicking sound when the right front element turns off. The burner will not stay on consistently like my other burners. Could you help me diagnose what part needs to be changed. Am I looking at a new element radiant 6-9-12 inch (part #PS9864142) or am I looking at a switch infinite control (part #PS1517426)?
For model number PCS968SR1SS
Hi Ryan, thank you for reaching out. Before replacing the radiant element, we would suggest replacing the infinite control switch, part number PS1517426. It turns the surface element on and off and controls how much heat the element produces. We hope this solves your problem!

The right burner with three rings turns on but stays on high heat when turned down to medium or minimum. Do I need a new switch? Is the correct one PS1517426?

Right front triple element works perfectly on inner and outer burner, but the middle element comes on at weaker power. Not sure if it is more likely the infinite control switch or the element. What would you suggest?
For model number ps968sp2ss
Hello Bill, thank you for reaching out. We have concluded that the issue is with the triple element. We recommend you replace the triple element, part number PS2321560, to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!
I believe i have a bad switch for the large burner on this stove -part# wb24t10139.The outer burner works but the 2 inners do not. How can i test this switch or can my problem be something else? Thanks.
For model number js750sf2ss (GE stove)
Hi Bob,
Thank you for your question. You can test the switch with a multi meter. You will know if you have no continuity if when testing the prongs on your switch, your meter needle does not move or the numbers on your meter do not change. The problem might be in your burner as well. You can test the burner with your multi meter too. Just to cover all of your bases. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
