Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This lower rack assembly is a genuine OEM replacement part that is made for dishwashers. It consists of the sliding rack with tines that hold dishes in place during the wash cycle. The lower rack is designed to hold larger items, like pots and plates. It is found at the bottom of the dishwasher. The rack will need to be replaced if it is damaged, no longer able to hold dishes, or no longer able to slide in and out of the dishwasher. To replace the rack, simply pull out the old one and slide the new one inside the dishwasher.
