This is the control board for your dishwasher. The electronic control board is what controls the overall operations for the dishwasher. When this board is bad or malfunctioning, it will cause issues like the dishwasher not responding or starting, and will need to be replaced. Replacing this control board will require some disassembly of your dishwasher, and tools like a screwdriver and socket wrench will be needed. This control board is an individual OEM part and does not include any other parts or accessories with it.

Our dishwasher was showing the signs that the control board was shot. I watched a short video and installed this part easily. Dishwasher started right up after installation. Quick and easy. Highly recommended part.

Good Part
The part did work, but it was not the problem. I would not have ordered it, but I did not know how to rule out of it was good or not. After installing it, the dishwasher control lights still did not register any power. I did some more research and found out the problem probably was the panel control board. So, I ordered the panel control board, installed it, and the control panel buttons lit up showing power. Then, I ran a full cycle mode with no problems. So, the problem could be in either one of the boards. There's no way to be sure without testing the boards.

GE dishwasher door lock sensor panel
Part arrived on time and well packaged.
Easy to install (easier if you have small hands)
I've used PartSelect on several previous repairs and they are consistent. They also accept returns easily with no issues.
I used JustAnswers.com for the dishwasher diagnosis. Well worth the $38 yearly fee. They answer questions related to all types of products. I strongly recommend them also.

Works great.
My 6 year old GE dishwasher stopped working after a bad storm. The symptoms were the “door open” beeping, which usually indicates a bad latch switch. The switch tested out ok to the circuit board. Visually the old board looked good, but it wasn’t. The new part fit right into place and was running in minutes.

Dishwasher wouldn't start - gave 3 beeps
YouTube videos indicated the dishwasher didn't recognize that the door was closed. The problem was either the latch or the main control board. I replaced the latch and that didn't work. So I ordered the control board and replaced that. That was the correct fix.
Replacing the control board was simple, however I did the repai

Wonderfully, Part Select gave a rebate for the old control board.

Code 815 identified door still open.
Checked issue on line. After getting the code I watched several YouTube self help sites. I followed the instructions from video provided by Drewin’ Around. He made a very easy to follow video and once I received the part, rewatched it and fixed the issue within 15 minutes. It took longer for me to fine my tools.

Front panel lights non-operational - no lights - no response
Disconnect power breaker. Remove the internal dishwasher plastic rack trays. Remove kick plate and kick plate insulation. Disconnected electrical connector plug from power board. Remove junction box cover and disconnected electrical wires (hardwired model - not typical electric plug model). Pull dishwasher out about 6"-8". Disconnect use
... Read morer interface cable from power board. Remove door. Follow electrical trouble shooting to determine that power board was getting power to the user interface board but lights still non-operational (including START button). Remove internal door panel to get to interface board and replace it with a new one. I decided to replace the power control board with a new one as well because I had ordered it prior to determining that it was the user interface board (module) that was bad. Reversed the installation, reconnected everything. Turned the power. Put the plastic trays back in. Tested the unit (empty and loaded) and, it worked.

My dishwasher will not start. I select start and it chirps three times, and then every minute after that. I've gone through the process of turning off the breaker and trying again. No difference. Is the WD21X24900C the recommended fix?
For model number GSF520PSJ2SS
Hello Amy, thank you for your question. We have researched your model and found that the issue is probably with the door latch, part number PS6447681. If that does not take care of the issue, then the problem is most likely to be related to the electronic control board, part number PS16729164. If you require assistance placing an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!
Hey replaced controller, gasgets and tech said element is fine but why still no heat?
For model number He dishwasher
Hi Margaret,
Thank you for your question. Before starting the dishwasher, make sure the hot water supply is on and run the hot water in the sink until it is good and hot. If your dishwasher has an internal thermostat or timer, they could be malfunctioning and will need to be replaced. If you could resubmit your question with your model number, we would be happy to check on these parts for you. We look forward to hearing from you!

Lights come on door shuts but does not engage with filling of water
For model number GDF620HMJ2ES
Hi Marilyn,
Thank you for your question. If your dishwasher is not filling with water, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the water inlet valve, the flood switch and the door latch assembly. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts. Once you have determined the part you need, please feel free to call customer service. We are open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!
i purchased a home with this dishwasher in it. The electrical control panel stopped working. It is not locked and I have turned the circuit breaker on and off. Looks like the manufacturing date was 2016.
I am not sure it is worth repairing given the part and the labor cost.
