How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?

Ice maker replacement
It was the identical part. Fast shipping. Fit perfectly. If the 2 screws inside the refrigerator were easier to access installation would have literally taken only 15 minutes. You can’t visualize the screws, you have to feel for them. As it was it took about 40 minutes to complete the task. Anyway, it’s working fine now and I would use your service again. Thanks.

Just received this refrigerator today. The sending arm on the ice maker is not down. How do I get it to come down and should it remain down at all times? Thank you
For model number GRMG2272CF00
Hello Harry, thank you for your inquiry. According to our research, you may need to remove any item or frozen clump of cubes that may prevent the signal arm from lowering down to check the ice level in the bin. Additionally, be sure the bin is in its properly installed position. Before the cubes are ejected, the signal arm lifts up, and after the cubes are ejected, the signal arm drops down again to sense the ice level. We hope this information is useful!

The little plastic arm that goes down snapped when I was putting the ice bucket back inside after cleaning. Is there a replacement part # for it? The handbook has it listed as #2, but that's the whole unit, and I just want to replace that plastic arm piece.
For model number frss2623aw0
Hello Cade, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the plastic arm that you are looking for does not come separately. You may need to replace the ice maker assembly, part number PS16745549, to fix the issue. We hope this helps!

My ice maker stopped making ice. My water dispenser is working with no problems. If I push and hold the little green button in on ice maker to the right of the power button , it will fill ice maker cube tray and freeze and dump ice into bucket.
Any ideas ?? Also how do you reset the ice maker.
Thanks
For model number FRSS2323AB0
Hello Richard, Thank you for contacting us today. The button on the Ice Maker is the way to reset it. You can also try to cut power to the appliance for 5 mins to reset the appliance. If this does not fix the issue, you may have a faulty Ice Maker. We hope this information is useful!

Ice maker working but it wont dump the ice.
For model number FRSS2323AS0
Hello David, thank you for getting in touch. One of the most common causes of an ice maker that won’t dispense ice is that an ice clump has formed inside. In order to remove ice chunks, you will need to go inside your ice container and remove them. If the container is not working, replace the ice container, part number PS16543843. Just like the ice container, it is just as likely that your ice chute is jammed when you press the lever and discover no ice comes out. Replace the dispenser module, part number PS16227297. Also check the auger motor, part number PS16227311, to fix the issue. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
Hello Michael, thank you for contacting us. The ice maker, part number PS16745549, you have mentioned is compatible with your model. We hope this helps!

my ice maker is no longer working, the arm has broken off. Is the arm a part of the icemaker replacement part?
For model number FRSS2623AS1
Hello Becky, Thank you for writing. The Arm is only sold as part of the Ice Maker assembly, so the Ice Maker will need to be replaced. Thank you for the inquiry, good luck with the repair!
