Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This is a burner knob for the stove top on your range. It allows the user to choose and control the different heat settings for the stove top surface element. This model is black with gray numbering. It is sold individually and only accepts a D-shaped shaft. To install this part, grasp the knob with a firm grip and easily snap it in place on the shaft.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Ordered wrong
I ordered the wrong knob. Do not know if it would cost more to return or order different one. I am 73 and my son left me to order it. Might of got the right one if he ordered. So many knobs.

Bake Igniter Burned Out
I watched the very simple video on the bottom of the parts page and prepped all the tools...You will need a small wrench or similar tool... but it was SOOOO simple! I like fix it projects, but working with a gas oven had me a bit nervous...after the video, I thought, this will be easy! It was super easy! My hubby didn't even have to help
... Read moremuch! I also took the time to clean the oven before changing the part, so it seems like a brand new oven! I will order from Parts Select again anytime!
It was easy to find on the website. It doesn't match exactly, however without the knob the burner will not light. It was literally a snap to snap the knob in place. The part arrive in a timely manner from the USPS. Thank you! I'm encouraged to get one more piece of equipment repaired because of this site thorough service.

What's the difference between ps1991531 and ps439785
Hi Tracey, Thank you for the question. Without the model number we can not say for sure, it could be the size of the knob or the D shape in the back for the shaft. It could be the length of the shaft on the back of the knob or how the numbers line up once installed onto the appliance. If you can provide the model and serial number of the appliance we will be happy to verify the correct knob for you. Hope this helps!
