Haven't use part yet
I just received the part yesterday June. 27, 2018. The shipping took too long to arrive. Parts are for a rental property and due to longtime shipping I will have to repair range later

Just replaced the 12" element still does not work any suggestions
For model number JB690EF1ES
Hi Mike,
Thank you for your question. It may be that you have to check the wiring between your switch and the switch itself. It could also be either of those parts that are causing your burner not to work. I hope this helps. Good luck with your repair.

Does this part work like a fuse to control the range top burners? The problem that I have is that all the burners quit working while I was using the oven. The oven, broiler and clock all are working ok. It's just the burners that don't work. Is there a fuse or a surface element switch located elsewhere that could have burnt out? Any information would surely be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Hello Ernie, Thank you for the question. This is just a plastic part that sits under the cooktop and acts like a bumper. I suggest checking the wiring for the switches and elements. You can also check the Module PartSelect Number PS953569 and the drop box PartSelect Number PS2321587. Hope this helps!
