Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This halogen lamp bulb is a genuine OEM replacement part for your oven. If the light has burned out in your oven, replace it with this part. This is a 35 watt bulb. Replacing this bulb is fairly easy but will require pulling the oven out from the wall. Make sure to shut off power to the unit before beginning this repair.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Is it really necessary to pull oven out of wall to replace light bulb? Also, how do you remove old bulb without breaking it?
For model number JK915SOK3SS
Hello Anne, thank you for your question. Before replacing your oven light bulb, disconnect the electrical power to the oven at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel. Be sure to let the light cover and bulb cool completely. For your safety, do not touch a hot bulb with bare hands or a damp cloth.
To remove the light bulb:
Turn the glass cover counterclockwise, 1/4 turn, until the tabs of the glass cover clear the grooves of the socket. Using gloves or a dry cloth, remove the bulb by pulling it straight out.
To replace the light bulb:
Use a new 130-volt Halogen bulb, not to exceed 50 watts. Using gloves or a dry cloth, remove the bulb from its packaging. Do not touch the bulb with bare fingers. Push the bulb straight into the receptacle all the way. Place the tabs of the glass cover into the grooves of the socket. Turn the glass cover clockwise 1/4 turn. For improved lighting inside the oven, clean the glass cover frequently using a wet cloth. This should be done when the oven is completely cool. Reconnect electrical power to the oven. We hope this information is useful.

How is the best way to remove the flat cover for the light bulb and what is the replacement for the oven light bulb.
For model number JT3000SF5SS
Hi Richard,
Thank you for your question. According to your owner's manual, to remove the glass cover, turn it counter-clockwise by a 1/4 turn until the tabs of the glass cover clear the grooves of the socket. Then remove the bulb. Install the new bulb and then position the tabs of the light cover into the grooves of the light socket and turn it clockwise 1/4 turn. We hope this helps!
