The part fit and works perfectly, shipment was fast. The install took about an hour from start to finish. Steps were: Turn off the power, unhook the wires at the junction box in the cabinet below the cooktop, used putty knife to slide under the cooktop around to cut the adhesive foam tape, lift out the unit and set on table. Note: I recommend to set the on the table right side up, remove the T15 torx screws around the sides of the metal base. Use the putty knife to loosen the metal base from the glass cooktop. Remove burner control knobs, Lift of glass cooktop, unhook wires to burner, I had to remove the burner
