While washing in agitation cycle only! A metal on metal grinding screech was emitted with each agitation each back & forth adgitation
Removed center fabric softener cup. removed agitator holding NUT & washer. Lifted off agitator. Pried off Coupling Pulsator. The coupling pulsator is jamed or stuck, any advice on how i should remove it

Hi Art, thank you for your question. You should be able to just slide this part upward. You might need to use a non staining lubricant to try and help slip it off the shaft. You may need to use pliers or something that would grip it tightly to help pull it off. Unfortunately the manufacturer does not offer any suggestions for an issue like this. If you have a thin enough pry bar, you might be able to slip it just underneath of the coupling and force it up that was as well. If worst comes to worst, I could suggest perhaps carefully splitting the part so that you do not damage the drive shaft but are able to remove the old coupling after it is in pieces. How do you remove the pulsator coupler?
For model number WHRE5550K2WW
Hi Greg, Thank you for your question. You would have to remove your agitator so that you can replace this part. All you do to do that is remove the dispenser in the middle but turning it counter clockwise. Then unscrew the bolt and lift the agitator off of your drive block. You should be able to pull this part off and then install the new one. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I need help with figuring out what’s wrong with my washer. I’ve reset and nothing. The motor is blinking a error code of 1flash per 3second. 1blink...123....1blink. if you could help me understand why it’s not agitating and how to go check what may need to be replaced would be great. thank you in advance.

Hello Toni, thank you for your question. The most common causes of the washer not starting is the PartSelect Number: PS1482371, Triple Water Inlet Valve PartSelect Number: PS2354072, and PROBE SENSOR ATC PartSelect Number: PS2355966. We would recommend testing these parts first. I hope this helps!

When washing washer makes noise when agitating

Hi Jose, thank you for your question. There are a couple of parts that you may want to check. First you should take a look at your tub bearing and all of the washers and tub seal that are in the same area. Look for any damage to the parts. If those parts are fine then the issue might be in your shifter assembly. Good luck with your repair.
