The lever on the ice maker dispenser broke but the rest of the unit works. I do not need to buy the whole unit but i am having trouble finding the lever by itself. Do they even sell it alone?

HOW DO I GET THE FRONT PANNEL OFF TO REPLACE THE ICE SHUTE FUNNEL ASSEMBLY

Hello Richard, thank you for reaching out. On the bottom right of the display cover, there is a square slot (to the front and right of where the screw was located). This slot will have a lock tab just above it that would need to be pressed in using a small flathead screwdriver. This will allow the cover to be removed to change out the funnel assembly. The door to let ice out keeps opening and closing. It won't stop. I removed the ac power to the door motor and let it sit like that for awhile. I plugged it back in now it works fine. Some site suggest replacing the whole unit but I think the signal to open and closes the door comes from someplace else. How does this system work? I don't want to replace the unit is the problem part could be some place else.
