Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This part is the replacement burner bowl seal or drip pan seal for your range. It is black in color and is sold individually. The burner bowl seal creates a seal between the cooktop and the drip pan and prevents spills from leaking between them. If the seal is broken or worn, it can allow spills to leak under the cooktop. To replace the seal, carefully remove it from under the drip pan, and fit the new seal into place. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Remove 2 screws with nut driver that hold the bracket that has the burner attached to it, very carefully tilt burner and bracket to access screws underneath, being careful not to kink gas line 6. Remove 1 screw and loosen the other to rotate bracket enough to access screw that holds igniter. 7. With new igniter installed replace bracket, turn gas on to check for leaks, you can also plug in power and check igniter. 8. Turn gas off and unplug power, turn glass cooktop over and clean old caulking off and recaulk, carefully replace cooktop and make sure holes are centered over burners and knobs. 9. While caulking is still fresh screw new drip bowls in place (May have to move top slightly to center bowls). 10. Once everything is back in place caulk around edge and turn gas and power back on.
Super easy, needed a screw diver and about 5 minutes per burner. (I replaced 4 each) Removed the 2 screws, disconnected and removed igniter. Put a new gasket on new burner bowl, reinstalled/connected igniter, installed the bowl with the 2 screws. Then I removed old knob and replaced with a new knob. New looking cooktop in about 2

Removed two screws, pulled out the igniter wire, removed a spring type wire holding the igniter to the bowl. Replace with new bowl, reconnected wire and placed new washer around bowl, placed back on stove top and screwed in place. Less than ten minutes to replace and only used a phillips screw driver.
