How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

So happy!
We looked everywhere for drip trays to fit my great grandmothers 1962 pink GE stove. My grandmother said they had tried a few years ago to get these and had no luck. I took the challenge on and am so happy to have come across Partselect. We found the model number but had no luck looking it up, even on GE's website! On this site I had to go with a similar model to point me in the right direction. At least Partselect gave me options and I was able find the drip trays that fit perfectly. Thank you Partselect!!!

So this ancient stove we inherited when we bought our house had the drip bowls wrapped in tin foil. We've searched EVERY (not joking) store in our area for drip bowls that would fit it, but apparently Hotpoint wanted to make sure you could never do this - well, at least not easily. No one, not one store carries drip bowls to fit it. I fin

Popped in the parts in less than 2 minutes, and we're good to go - makes this old stove look new! (well, if this was the 80's, lol) When I clicked on the part it said which stoves it would fit, which was also very helpful. Thank goodness for Part Select! Otherwise we would've had to rewrap those disgusting old bowls... I'd recommend this site in a heartbeat!
Both the eight inch burner and the the six inch burner were not an exact fit. I used the old rings and the new burners. The eight inch burner fit well with the new drip bowl;however, the six inch burner did not fit with the six inch drip bowl and I had to grind off about an eigth inch from the diamiter of the drip bowl. Is it necessary to have the trim rings with the bowls? I'm replacing all 4 burner accessories on my inherited stove and, presently, the large one has a bowl and ring but the other 3 only have the bowl. Just not sure what i need. Thanks for the help!
For model number J B500G0B1
