I’m wondering if this is really the part I need I heard it was discontinued and no longer being manufactured this is the part that controls whether or not the driver starts and stops correct also may be called start timer switch or some variation of that? I’m having a really hard time finding this part of the model is an 04 so it’s old but everything works fine on it just it won’t turn on and I’ve heard that when you turn on the switch it should make a humming sound which means it does work there’s another problem or doesn’t make any sound at all and that means the switch needs replaced and my dryer does not make any sound at all when I turn on the switch to set the timer I was going to go ahead and purchase a thermal fuse in a door switch as well just in case might as well change it while I’m in there but I think this part is what I really need can you give me any information on that I’ll be extremely grateful thank you
