The spider was broken--all 3 arms! The tub cover was worn as a result.
I followed the instructions give by video by Steve, the technician on that video. That video was FANTASTIC! I'm competent at repairs but tackling something like this with specific help on the order of steps saved me lots of time. Once I finished the work (8 hours of labor start to finish; 3 weeks to get the last part), the washer worked like new!

Hi i am observing some water coming out of the vent hose port from the top air vent hose on top of the outer drum. I have cleaned the house drain pipes with a large drain cleaning machine and inspected them with a waterproof camera. I have cleaned and inspected all drain hoses on the LG washer including the pump, screen and hoses. The pump is working. I know how to use the self diagnose mode. I have replace the water inlet valves and the water level pressure switch but i am still observing some water escaping from the air vent hose at the back of the machine only when in high spin at the end of the wash cycle. Could this float valve have failed and be letting water out and is this something that others have experienced.

Wondering if there is a fix for the ez dispensers to get them working again? Or can i replace that dispenser?

If the detergent dispenser is not dispensing detergent, bleach, or fabric softener, there may be a build up of detergent residue and you will need to remove it and give it a thorough cleaning. If this does not help, you will need to replace it. We hope this helps!
