I had a massive ice build up in refrigerator and freezer. Coils behind fridge inside panels were covered in ice. Do the temp sensors need to be replaced for both to resolve this? Fans are working in both sections.
For model number RB195BSSB
Hello Jim, thank you for contacting us. It looks like your refrigerator is not defrosting. We would recommend checking the defrost sensor, part number PS4138681. It monitors the temperature of the evaporator coil and sends the temperature reading to the electronic control board. The issue can also be related to the pan and heater assembly, part number PS4169414. It collects condensation from the evaporator and prevents the drain water from freezing. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!
My fridge is freezing every thing in the refrigerator compartment
For model number RB1955SW
Hello Merced, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding, the issue is most probably with the fresh food section temperature sensor, part number PS4138683. It senses the temperature inside the refrigerator and sends information to the electronic control. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this helps!

Is there a way to confirm this is the prob before I order? My frig and freezer won't stay cold unless I unplug and plug back it in 2-3x daily. Nothing is frozen up. It knows how to get back to set temps but just can't keep them there.
For model number RB2044SL
Hello Darcelle, Thank you for the question. You can test the Sensor with a Multimeter. You will need to check the temperature sensor for resistance of 5K ohms at room temperature. We hope this helps!
