Samsung fridge will run and cool but when it shuts off it will not start again without unplugging and plugging in again.

Hi Mary, Thank you for your question. I would suggest testing your run capacitor and your start relay on your compressor first. You can test both of those parts with a multi meter. If they are both working you will want to also check the defrost thermostat and the other thermostats inside of your appliance as well. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My frig will work some times a week some times a couple of days then will shut off and not restart. You can unplug it replug it and it will run again for a day or two maybe a couple weeks then shut off again some times you can leave it along for a day or so and it will restart by itself

Hi Curtis, Thank you for the question. I suggest replacing or testing the Start Relay, PartSelect Number: PS4138901. This relay kicks the compressor on and off. Hope this helps!
