My Samsung refrigerators compartment is 32 degrees at the lower drawers (bottom of frig) and 38 degrees at the upper level of the frig. Also the digital read out which is set at 38 degrees never changes? I have changed that thermistor, defrost temperature sensor, refrigerator temperature sensor and the main control board. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
For model number RF217ACWP/XAA
Hi Andrew, Thank you for the question. I suggest checking the evaporator fan motor, PartSelect Number PS4138377. If the fan is spinning to slow or not at all the cold air is not circulating to the fresh food department. Hope this helps!

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your question. The only other part that I could suggest checking is your refrigerator temperature sensor. It could be that perhaps that part is not reading the correct temperature and so your appliance does not know it is that warm at the top of your fridge. Also the warmest air in your appliance will be more toward the top. So to make your top colder you will likely have to change the temperature and the bottom will become colder. Good luck with your repair.

For model number rt21m6215ww
Hello Jeff, thank you for the question. Based on our research, your model does not come with a defrost timer. For your model, the control board, part number PS12083028, manages the functions such as cooling and defrost times. We hope this information helps!
