This is an individually sold shock absorber designed for use within Samsung washing machines. This rear shock absorber is designed to evenly distribute the weight and prevent the excessive vibrations produced by the washer drum and ensure smooth operation from the washing machine. Over time and with further use, this shock absorber and its front counterpart will experience wear and tear at the same rate, and may stop working properly. Since this is only the rear shock absorber, you may need to replace one or both of your shock absorbers if your washing machine is shaking excessively. Replacing this shock absorber will only require a wrench to access the back panel of your washing machine.

I would like to order shock dampers for this model. How many front dampers ( part # ps4212219)and how many rear dampers p# ps4212220) are required? Would this stop the vibration during spin cycle? Thanks joe

Hello Joe, thank you for your question. There are two front shock absorbers on the unit, and two rear. You would want to replace 2 of Washer shock absorber Parts #: DC66-00470A and 2 of Washer shock absorber Parts #: DC66-00470B. I hope this helps!

I understand the front and rear shock absorbers are different parts and are sold separately, but I would like to confirm that each of these part numbers yield 1 part, and not a set for the rear, and a set for the front.
