Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This selector knob, also called the control knob, is used to choose different settings and cycles on your dryer. This knob is silver in color and is found on the control panel. If it becomes damaged, you may notice it feeling loose or becoming difficult to turn. Replacing it is a straightforward process of gently prying it away from the unit and snapping the new one into place. This genuine OEM replacement part is sold individually.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

My knob spins on the front of my washer and doesn't go to different cycle would this fix the problem?
For model number wa52m7750av
Hello Joy, thank you for reaching out to PartSelect. According to our research, your washer does not go to the next cycle because of a faulty knob, part number PS4221991. If the issue is still there you need to check your control board, part number PS12084915. We hope this solves your problem!
On the control assy panel, I’m looking for the circular ring that goes right outside until knob. Do you guys have that part? I can send a picture if needed.
For model number WF350ANP/XAA 01
Hi Joyce, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, the ring you are looking for does not come separately. It comes with the control knob assembly you mentioned. We hope this information is useful!
