Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This thermal cut-off fuse bracket assembly is a genuine replacement part supplied directly by Samsung for use in dryers. It is a safety component that is designed to protect the dryer from overheating if the temperature in the dryer becomes too high. It works by shutting off power to the dryer to prevent a potential fire or other damage. This thermal cut-off fuse is rated for 320 degrees Fahrenheit or 160 degrees Celsius. It includes a steel bracket for easy installation. The cut-off fuse is designed to be used only once. Once it has been activated, it will need to be replaced. It is recommended to check your dryer for any potential clogged vents, lint filters, or faulty thermostat as these often result in overheating.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

waited
I ordered 4 dryer parts. when ordering on line it showed all items in stock. After ordering 5 days later I received 2 of the 4 items and had to wait for another week and a half before I received part 3 then 3 days later I received the 4th and most important part ,the heating element. I have ordered many parts from you in the past but will think twice after this experience. Also called customer service and was treated like I was less then intelligent.

Should I get continuity when I test the “bracket fuse assembly”?
For model number DV456EWHDWR/AA
Hello Matthew, thank you for getting in touch. If the thermal fuse does not show continuity on testing through the multimeter, it means that the fuse has blown out and may need to be replaced. We have attached a relevant video that may not be of the same model, but will help you in testing the thermal fuse. You may need to watch it from 2:06 to 2:54. We hope this helps!
