How do you know when to place the electronic controller in this fridge?

Hello John, thank you for your question. You would want to replace this unit if it continuously beeps, if the lights go out on the control, or if the fridge/freezer is not cooling properly. I hope this helps!

Sometimes refig is beeping and nothing is displayed on the temp display - after a couple of hours the beeping stops and frig gets cold again -- this happens almost every day - now it has stopped -- when temp indicator is set to f after beeping happens - temp goes back to c -- problem has stopped for a week or so now --
