When my Ice Dispenser began dispensing plastic pieces, I found that the Dispenser Drive Cup at the rear of the Dispenser Bucket had been shattered and pieces of the plastic were in the Ice Bucket. I ordered the Drive Cup and I had much difficulty removing the Auger Assembly. After replacing the Drive Cup, the mechanism was tight and the Drive Motor would "strain" when activated. Rather than taking a chance that the Motor would fail, I ordered the complete unit (Ice Bucket and Auger Unit). Less than five(5) minutes to replace. Ice dispenser now working fine, (no plastic ice cubes). I returned the Drive Cup. Still waiting for a refund.

Ice would not advance out of the ice maker into the door chute
Decided not to mess around buying parts and pieces. Bought a complete new unit. Slid the old ice maker out and slid the new one in. Works like a charm and way cheaper than calling for service.

Ice maker was slow and then stopped functioning.
Took it apart into and diagnosed the proble. Decided to slide in a brand new assembled replacement. Works like a charm and no headaches trying to put it back together! Don't drive yourself crazy trying to fix it! Opened the freezer door. Slid it in!

Auger no longer turned
Removed old ice bucket, installed new one, works like new. After 10 years, i ordered parts to repair it last year. Didn't last long because plastic parts supporting metal parts wore out. Best just to replace bucket.

Ice machine auger not working correctly
Took out the ice bucket and replaced with a new unit. I wish I had done that in the first place. We had already replaced the auger blade housing and that plastic boot at the back. It wasn't that easy, and it didn't work right since then. Should have just replaced the entire thing.

Ice Auger Broken Twice
This is second ice bucket auger I had to replace, don't know why it's breaking , but partselect was great to work with, replaced the broken part, was fast and very nice to help. I really appreciated their service. There was no repair, I mean, open the box, take out broken auger box, put in new one. No possibility of error.
