After finishing a self clean cycle, our stove now will not stop heating a preset temp. Did the high temp cause this damage and is this the right part?
For model number EW30ES6CGS4
Hello Al, Thank you for the question. This is normally caused by a defective Temperature Sensor, PartSelect Number PS820208. You can also test the sensor to confirm it is defective. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. Hope this helps!

Hi, We cant get the bottom element to come on. The element works, I tried switching the leads from the top element and the element works fine. so im assuming its a relay board. But there is 2 boards at the back, Which one would it be that controls the bottom element.
Thanks

Hello Darrell, thank you for reaching out. We believe your range is having this problem because of the control board. We recommend you replace the electronic control board, part number PS2378973, to fix the issue. We hope this information is useful!
