Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This is a fixing kit for a gas range or cooktop, it is also known as a spark module. It is a six-point gas re-igniter with flame rectification. A spark module is used to create the spark that ignites the gas for the burners, in this case this spark module re-light the cooktop burner flame if it goes out during use. If your burners will not light, or will not re-light and the spark ignition system is failing you may need to replace the spark module in your range or cooktop. Before you replace this part make sure you have shut off the gas supply, and unplugged the appliance.

I have an old Thermador gas range. All 4 burners (including 2 XLO) always work fine when turned on individually, except:
When I first turn on any one of them and put a pot to cook on it, if I immediately try to turn on any of the other 3 they will all work fine. However, if I wait a few minutes before trying to turn any other burner on, those will all have no spark but the gas flows and can be lit with a match.
This indicates to me that any functional part associated with each single burner works fine but there must be a common part controlling the spark for all burners that is not working and may be affected by temperature change caused by any previously lit burner.

The ignitors continue to spark after the burner lights. They worked fine before we removed the cooktop to change out the granite but once installed again this happens. I've cleaned and alined everything that the trouble shooting guild tells me to. Will this part help?

My stove stopped sparking so i replaced the spark module with part # ps8737287. Now it won't stop sparking even after gas lights. Just keeps sparking non-stop. Did i receive a defective replacement part?
