Dishwasher won't cycle. Stops mid-cycle and won't do anything,

It certainly sounds like it could be a faulty door strike PS2331186 and/or possibly a malfunctioning latch assembly PS6448155 you should check the part(s) for signs of damage or test with a multimeter, and replace the part(s) as needed.
