The sealing flap on the left door is failing to open and turn when door is closed. It seems that a small part on the top is needed to help guide it in its proper position. There is a plastic cylinder type part that just isn’t tall enough to guide the piece in its proper place. I’m not sure what part number is missing and how to fix our problem. It’s the second time this has happened and it seems too simple to warrant and expensive service call. Thanks

Hello Mary Jane, thanks for your great question. There are two parts at the top of the mullion that could be the culprits: the mullion hinge spring (PS6011724) and the mullion spring sleeve (PS8757808). These parts should be inspected and replaced if they seem worn or damaged. We also recommend checking the mullion hinges (top and bottom - PS8758150 and center - PS8758149). If you would like assistance placing an order, don't hesitate to reach out to Customer Service. Good luck with your repair!
