This cooktop and frame assembly is a genuine OEM replacement part supplied by Samsung. It is specially made to fit with Samsung gas ranges. It includes a black frame made of stainless steel and a black glass cooktop. The glass cooktop sits on the countertop and the frame holds it in place. If your burners are not heating properly or the glass is cracked, you will need to replace the assembly in order to safely continue using your range.

Fast shipping for my new Samsung glass range top. Stove looks new again. Replacement information was sketchy on the internet, but no problem. Remove 4 screws from the bottom of the control panel, lift and pull panel away from seal. Disconnect the connectors and put panel aside, remove screws from back of range cover, lift from bottom and remove from glass top. 4 screws hold the top and frame to the range. Remove burners and apply to new top. Reinstall a handful of screws, and plug back in. Easier than it looks.

Do i have to buy the whole bundle if i only need the top glass.....everything works fine...just that i accidently dropped a pan and broke the top glass?

Hi ! I have this electric stove but the top glass broke accidentally. Days went by and the crack went all the way to the end of the glass and caused one of the burners to stop working. By replacing the top glass range.. by changing this part... will all the burners work again?

Hello Maria, thank you for your question. You will most likely have to replace the element as well. We would recommend ordering both parts and if the element is not required it can be returned for a refund if not installed. I hope this helps.
