Introducing the Frigidaire Thermistor Kit, an essential temperature-sensing component for your refrigerator. This Thermistor Kit, specifically designed for evaporator purposes, belongs to the genuine OEM category and, as such, is compatible with certain Frigidaire, Electrolux, White Westinghouse, and Tappan refrigerator models. It assumes a crucial role in detecting the internal temperature inside the refrigerator and relays this information promptly to the electronic control, ensuring your food stays perfectly chilled. Please verify your refrigerator model before ordering to guarantee compatibility. Unplug your refrigerator and make sure to store your food safely before installation to avoid food spoilage. To ensure your safety, remember to wear work gloves during the process to protect your hands.

Fridge freezes daily no temperature control could it be the thermostat?

After plugging Fridge in, evaporator motor runs for five seconds then stops. Then the compressor comes on then stops. I have replaced the control board and the evaporator motor. I have ran the test using the light switch, and everything works individually while testing.

Freezer stopped fully freezing. Refrigerator is still cold but food is not frozen in the freezer. Cleaned dust off the coils and still nothing. I have not heard the fan or compressor turn on. What should i look at next?
For model number FFTR1614RW1
Hi Dave, thank you for the question. We would suggest checking the freezer door gasket for any damage first. If it is fine, the issue could be with the evaporator fan motor, part number PS12728811. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
The ice maker stopped working. When I took it apart to check it out I found the assembly to be a solid block of ice. So I thawed it out, melted the ice with a hair dryer, and reassembled it. It worked fine for about 4 days and then it was frozen solid again. Any suggestions on what could be causing this?
