Easy Repair - Saved the Cost of a Service repair
I was able to get the order number of the knob from the dryer serial number. I ordered the part , received it within a week, installed it and the dryer is back in operation. I saved the cost of a service call ($99.00) and the inflated cost of the part (from the service company) and at least a week in time waiting for the service company to order the part and come back to fix the dryer.

Great knob
Not cheap but much better than the crap knob the machine came with. Old one was all plastic. This one has metal inside and a band around for support. Built to last.

Timer on dryer would not work & knob got stripped from using pliers to turn it
We followed the video instructions from the site, and it worked like a charm ! We unplugged the dryer, and removed the back panel, then replaced the timer by securing all the wires, replaced the timer and knob, turned it on and it worked !!
Upon closer examination I noticed the timer knob was cracked. I looked up the serial number in the manual, then easily located it on part select. I received the part quickly and like magic, my dryer is working perfectly.

2 of my control knobs on the left are strip: (signal knob) and (fabric care, knob). On the right, the (cotton, permanent press, time dry knob). Please help me select the correct knobs to order. I noticed the clip is not in the time dryer knob. Could this have even the reason for stripping. The knobs split on both side. Thank you and i expect to hear from you soon. Patricia

The parts breakdown for my dryer / model shows part # WE1M652 as the correct dryer timer knob replacement part. However this visually does not match the knob that’s on the dryer (original part now broken). When looking at pics of various replacement knobs it appears that part # WE01X20374 is actually identical to what is on there now. I’d like to be sure that WE01X20374 will fit (clip, shaft, etc). Thanks….
