Sump
It was very easy finding the sump part online.
I thought that the price was fair. I received the part in a short amount of time.
I'm not a professional appliance man but am pretty handy. It didn't,take long at all to replace the part.
I would recommend that everyone shop this site.

Genuine part and worked perfectly!
The sump bought was the genuine part and it was an easy fix. Thanks to PartSelect videos that makes it easy to understand where the parts are and how things are done to make the install easy. It was quite simple once we got to the bottom of the dishwasher. Took only about 30 mins to remove, clean up, and reinstall the part. The old part was corroded and a hole formed on it. Use dishwasher cleaner once a month to keep the soap scum out and the machine squeaky clean. I never did it before and that's why I paid the price for it. Great experience with PartSelect.

Water leaking underneath dishwasher
went online to parts select. Looked at parts that could be leaking. Thought it was the sump. Purchased the sump and the pump connector. Almost bought the adaptor pump assembly, but it was $29.00. Parts arrived in about 2 days. Turned off water and power to dishwasher. Disconnected the copper water line. Hardest part was getting the dishwa
... Read moresher out of space. Once out, layed it on it's side. Parts held together with clamps. Took it apart like a puzzle. Replaced the parts, tightened the clamps. Pump connector hard to unscrew. Got a good hand grip on it and turned it loose. Sump did have a hole in it. Put everything back together. water, electric, etc. Turned it on and it was leaking. Leak coming from the adaptor pump assembly. Couldn't wait 2 more days.Found part at a local parts store for $40.00. Was able to change it by reaching underneath and not pulling dishwasher out again. All three parts needed to be changed. Dishwasher now working fine. If your leaking underneath and taking out the dishwasher change those 3 parts.
Disconnected electrics, plumbing, and removed DW. Replaced sump inlet by removing about four clamps. The inlet was partially dissolved. I think what lead to this is a partial clog, of broken glass and plastic. DW works fine.

Sump was leaking from previous repair person
Removed Dishwasher, inverted it and replaced the sump housing. There are 2 screws mounting the top of the dishwasher to the counter, a water connection and the electrical connection. Remember to turn the water off and the electricity off. Slide the DW out on carpet. Carried it to the garage to affect the repair. Reinstalled the dishw

Is the sump #505 easy to replace? #wd18x10026
For model number 9280
Hello Glen, the sump is a very easy repair. To do this you would unplug the unit and turn off water supply then uninstall the dishwasher from its position, pull it out completely and put on its side. Remove the top sump clamp, and remove the three other clamps. Pull out the sensor, then remove the sump. You will reuse the clamps from the old sump. Remove the sump plate as well, to be reused. You would reinstall the plate into the new sump, then slide the clamps onto the
sump sleeves. Install the new sump. Slide in the check valve first, Push the sump on the top lip
and then slide the drain pump into the sump. Tighten the clamps, tile the appliance back upright
then reinstall the dishwasher into the opening and reattach the water supply and connect power. I hope this helps!

For model number ZBD6880K15SS
Hello Juan, thank you for your question. We would recommend cleaning the spray arm blades and filter under the lower spray arm and the sump. If cleaning the unit doesn't fix the problem, we would recommend using this to rebuild the circulation pump which pushes water through the unit. That is PartSelect Number: PS1017766. I hope this helps!

Is this part currently available. Our local repair business has not been able to find this part through their supplier.
For model number PDW8211J00WW
Hello Robert, Thank you for the question. According to the Website Availability, this is a Special Order part. This means we do not keep them in stock and order them in from GE once we have an order for one. As long as GE has stock ready to ship, this takes about 10-15 Business Days for the part to arrive at the Warehouse and approximately 3-7 business days to ship out and arrive top you. We hope this helps!
