Leak in the big hose connecting the pump to the washer
The top, control panel and front and back of the machine are removed - all by just removing simple sheet-metal screws. NOTE: remove the soap drawer, because there are two longer screws behind the drawer front. When replacing these later, get them just snug because "tight" will crush the supporting plastic. Don't bother to unplug all the w

Squeeze the ends with a pair of pliers and slide them off the tubing. When putting the new part on, I found that the cramped space and difficult access made getting two of the spring-held bellows clamps impossible to get back on, so I used automotive-style stainless hose clamps, which screw tight from the side. Be cautious to get them very snug but not super tight because, you can crush the plastic tubing to which you are fastening. Reassembly of the panels on the machine is the reverse.

What is the best way to clean the filter on the pump of this washer. Do i take off the side or front of the machine and how do i do that easily.

Hi Thomas,
Thank you for your inquiry. You should be able to wipe the filter out with a cloth or if it is damaged you may need to replace it. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Any cycle I put the washer on will start and then stop after 2-3 seconds. If I press the start and cancel buttons for three seconds, it displays the code e5e.
For model number GLTF2940ES0
Hello Peter, Thank you for the question. The E5E Error code indicates a communication problem. You will need to check the wiring between the main control board,PartSelect Number: PS2330931 and the motor control board, PartSelect Number: PS1524621. If the wiring is good the main control board will most likley need to be replace or if the problem continues, the motor control board will need replacing. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!
there is standing water occasionally in the bottom of the wash tub after doing a load of laundry.

The described issue is mostly caused by a loose or punctured drain hose, part number PS975871, a faulty drain pump, part number PS7783938, and/or a loose hose clamp, part number PS1524609. We would recommend checking and replacing these parts if found faulty. Customer service is always available to help you place an order if you are having trouble doing so. Good luck with your repair.
