1 Review
PartSelect Number PS11769929
Manufacturer Part Number W10915369
This grease filter is designed for use in range hoods. It is sourced directly from the equipment manufacturer and has dimensions of approximately 7 1/2 inches wide, 8 3/4 inches in height, and 1/2 inches in depth. The filter is responsible for trapping grease, smoke, and other odors created during cooking, and preventing them from circulating back into the kitchen. It has an aluminum mesh layer which primarily captures grease particles, and a charcoal layer, also known as a carbon filter, which primarily absorbs and reduces odors and smoke particles. Carefully lift out the old filter from the range hood and dispose of it. Align the new filter in its compartment and secure it in place with the appropriate fasteners.

This part is the replacement fan for your range hood. It is made of white plastic and is approximately 7 inches in diameter. The fan blade helps to dissipate smoke and smells from your range. The main reason you would want to repair the fan blade is if it is damaged, and will not rotate. PartSelect Number PS953545
Manufacturer Part Number WB24X10129
This is the replacement fan switch for your range hood. When you turn the knob to turn the range fan on, the fan switch is actuated. If your fan will not turn on when the knob is turned, you most likely have an issue with the fan switch. The fan has a main square portion with a red center that connects to the fan control knob. The main portion is approximately 1 inch in diameter. This part is sold individually. Be sure to disconnect the power source from your range before you begin this repair.

FR Burner out and range hood switches broken
pulled oven out in the open, unplugged from outlet, removed two white front side panels, removed four screws on sides, unplugged range from harness, removed top, unscrewed two metal clips that hold element in place, gently removed wires from element using a small screwdriver and needle nose pliers and attached each one to the new element as it was removed. Reinstalled as I took apart. For the range hood, I unplugged the hood, removed the covers to the switch box and used a small screw driver to open/destroy the old switch and to save the tinned wires. I then pushed in the wires into the new switch as I removed them from the old one. Should be careful to only snug up the hex nuts as the plastic switch stem will probably break easily with a little force. Read more...

This is the replacement light switch for your range. It comes with the actual switch, and the hex nut that goes with it. The switch is approximately 1 ¼ inches by 1 ¼ inches, and the hex nut is approximately ½ an inch in diameter. When you press the switch, it allows you to turn the range light on and off. If the light does not come on when you hit the switch, you may need to replace it. Be sure to disconnect your microwave from the power source before you begin this repair. This part is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Installation Instructions
Joseph from FLORENCE, NJ
The plastic part of the switch that screws into the hex nut broke off.
First, unplug the range hood, then remove the switch cover plate, held by two Phillips screws. Remove the switch knob and the hex nut on the front of the hood.(In my case, the hex nut had snapped off with the threaded part of the switch in it.) Then gently pull the switch away from the hood and write down which color wire (black, yellow, white) connects to which receptacle on the switch. The receptacles on the rear of the switch are marked L,1,2 and 3. 3 is left blank. Snip the wires from the switch, getting as close to the body of the switch as possible. Pulling them from the push-in receptacles doesn't work. Using a wire stripper, strip off about 1/2 inch of the wire insulation. Twist the exposed wires tightly and insert into the appropriate receptacles so that no bare wire shows. Insert the face of the switch into the hole on the hood so that the threaded portion protrudes. Using the hex nut provided, tighten snugly with an adjustable wrench. Do not over-tighten. Reattach the knob. Most of this repair went quickly and smoothly, but, despite repeated efforts, the threaded portion of the new switch did not fit through the original hole in the hood. As a result, I used a drill to enlarge the hole. The result was satisfactory but the new switch is not seated as well as the original. The knob does not line up exactly in the On, Off, Nite Light positions. Read more...

Vent Hood Microwave Grease Filter
★★★★★
★★★★★
12 Reviews
PartSelect Number PS1847969
Manufacturer Part Number 6802A
If the microwave exhaust fan is not circulating air properly, there could be an issue with the grease filter. A dirty filter will cause your microwave to run less efficiently and can alter the taste or smell of your food. Filters should be changed every six months for maximum performance. These silver, aluminum filters are sold separately, and are approximately 13 3/8 inches long x 5 7/8 inches wide. Measure your current filter to assure correct replacement. Check your grease filters regularly for particles and grease buildup to see if cleaning is necessary. If there is any visible damage to the filter, it should be replaced straight away.

This lamp socket is designed for use in range hoods. It is an authentic manufacturer replacement that holds the light bulb securely and provides the electrical connection needed for the bulb to function. If the socket has a loose/faulty connection, or it is damaged or worn-out, the light bulb will either fail to turn on or it will flicker. Vent Hood Refrigerator Halogen Bulb 20w 12v
★★★★★
★★★★★
12 Reviews
PartSelect Number PS951718
Manufacturer Part Number WB01X10239
This light bulb is a 12 Volt/20 Watt bi-pin base halogen lightbulb, meaning it emits a bright, white light which is similar to natural daylight and is inserted into its socket, as opposed to being rotated in. This bulb specifically is designed for use and compatible within various makes and models of home appliances, such as refrigerators, microwaves and ranges, and is sold individually. This halogen bulb can last up to 2000 hours and will begin to emit a yellow-ish tint or diminished brightness as it ages and deteriorates.
Installation Instructions
Edward from Averill Park, NY
Halogen bulb beneath microwave lighting the stovetop burned out after 9 mo.
Unscrewed the light cover beneath the microwave with a phillips head screwdriver. The bulb is very tiny and has 2 straight parallel prongs that slide into 2 small holes. Grab bulb from both sides with each hand firmly and slide STRAIGHT out (no twisting or pushing). Don't worry about breaking even though it may take a fair amount of pressure to pull out. New bulb arrived within a couple of days. Due to high shipping cost, suggest buying 2 or more bulbs at once. Bulb is often used as a kitchen night light so that is probably why I only got 9 months out of it. Read more...
