Unscrew the the bad part, screw on the new part

ordered the part and got the part in three day. A no hassle experience. Installed the latch and eureka! Fixed!

Nothing to it rteall. The great thing was how fast this company got the part to me!

I merely unscrewed the two screws at the top and bottom of the striker, removed the broken part, and screwed on the new one. It probably took about five minutes. I was very proud, as I was able to identify the problem, order the part and install it without involving my husband :-)

The front loading washer door was wobbely so I took it apart as per wife request. Hinge looked fine, bushings were fine so I started to put it back together... then the glass slipped out and to the ground. Take the time to remove the door hinge and assemble on a flat surface, then place the whole assemble back on the washer machine. Don't try to take door apart while still attached to machine. Try it you will understand and then you will be buying a new glass front.

I order the part from this website. I want sent to me in 1.5 days. I removed the srews form the broken latch on the door. I place the new latch on the door, than use a phillip head screw driver and attach the latch to the door.

Unscrew broken door latch and re-screw new one in.

Washing machine would wash but during spin out phase would just rotate a couple times and then stop never entering fast spin phase. Read about the same problem on this site and decided to order the locking mechanism replacement. Took off back two screws to top of the machine, took out two screws to locking mechanism in door, removed and unplugged old mechanism, plugged in new mechanism and replaced all screws and top. Washer works perfectly. Easy fix, took less than 15 minutes.

The door strike on our front loader snapped, thanks to numerous family members slamming the door. I don't know much about repairing appliances, actually, I didn't even know the part we broke was called a 'door strike'. Repair was easy. Two screws held it on. It's set into the door, so there is no adjustment. However, I should have bought a couple of extra ones, because the design problem is still inherent, and it will break the next time somebody is in a hurry and "slams" the door, or pulls it open before the cycle is completed. The ten pound door is held by a stike less than 1/8" thick.

I unscrewed the old one and screwed the new one in. It was that easy and took me 5 min. Thank you Part Select!
